About Us
Domestic Container Transportation, Inc. was established in December 1997. We are a wholesale transportation company that utilizes rail and truck drayage to provide intermodal services to transportation companies and providers. We move containers door-to-door, ramp-to-ramp or any combination. We provide 20', 40' and 45' steamship containers or we can move your containers.
We transport containers from the Midwest, Ohio Valley, South Atlantic, North East and Gulf of the United States and Montreal/Toronto, Canada to the West Coast Ports of Los Angeles, Oakland, Portland, Seattle and Vancouver, BC. We are also able to move 40' containers from Chicago to Houston. Containers moving westbound are generally provided with chassis at origin or destination.
We also transport containers from Los Angeles and Oakland, CA to the Pacific Northwest, Midwest, Ohio Valley, South Atlantic, North East and Gulf of the US. We can also move 40' containers from Portland and Seattle to Chicago, Detroit, Midwest or Dallas/Houston, TX . Containers moving eastbound are generally provided without chassis at origin or destination.
In addition to our domestic repositioning we can move international containers in the United States and Canada. Rates and services are provided on special request.
